    David Gray
    Provost & Vice President, Academic

    Dr. Gray completed his undergraduate degree in Marine Biology at University College of North Wales in Bangor, United Kingdom, in 1993 and then pursued his Ph.D. in Zoology at Rhodes University in South Africa. Over the years, he has served in several distinguished roles, including at the University of the Western Cape, Hartpury College, and the University of Derby. Most recently, he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Dalhousie University, where he played a pivotal role in the development of the Agricultural Campus. In these positions, Dr. Gray has been responsible for overseeing extensive budgets, managing large staff contingents, and developing innovative educational programs.

All Domestic students who enroll in a 2024 program automatically receive the Canada Community Appreciation Entrance Award. This award is valued at $9,600 for Undergraduate Programs and between $5,200 to $7,200 for the Master Programs.

If you’d like to apply, please bring:

• Proof of Citizenship (Passport/Birth Certificate)
• Official transcripts from all institutions attended. (Translated if not in English)
• Documentation that outlines your current course work such as: Credit Counselling Forms, Midterm Report Card, or Enrollment Form.
• Proof of English Proficiency (International Applicants Only)
• Resume/CV (If Available)
