University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) is pleased to announce a new scholarship for incoming students who have served our country in a variety of ways.
The Canadian Hero Scholarship is a 30% discounted tuition rate that is available to domestic applicants who are active members, reservists or Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) veterans and their families, as well as applicants who are CF One members and their families.
Eligible applicants will see this scholarship applied to all courses within their program plan.
The Canadian Hero Scholarship is available for all UNF’s undergraduate and graduate programs.
The Canadian Hero Scholarship is part of the CF One Member Appreciation Program, which was created to promote a variety of exclusive and meaningful discounts to the CAF Community and their families – one million strong – in recognition of their sacrifices and dedication.
“We’re thrilled to be able to offer the Canadian Hero Scholarship to those who have served this country, as well as their family members,” said Jason Lennard, Registrar at University of Niagara Falls Canada. “We look forward to welcoming them into the UNF community as they embark on their academic journey.”
The CF One Card offers rewards, discounts and services to all members of the Canadian Armed Forces Community. Visit their website to view eligibility.
A copy of the member’s CF One Card must be submitted with the initial application to be considered for this scholarship. As a condition of the scholarship, the student must commence their program before their offer for admission expires and must not change programs. To remain eligible, the student must pay all fees not covered by the award by their respective due dates and maintain good academic standing as well as full-time enrollment status.
The Canadian Hero Scholarship is just one of several scholarships and awards the Office of the Registrar is offering UNF graduate and undergraduate students.
